New Weapons~New Woman

1 Corinthian 13:11, "When I was a child, I spoke as a child, I understood as a child, but when I became a (wo)man, I put away childish things."

In this season of New Beginning, we all have been afforded the opportunity of growth and the ability to walk as mature women of God. We no longer can hold to the curtails of yesterday nor the excuses of years ago. If you want to change, the change begins with every woman looking in the mirror and taking inventory of what she is and where she desires for God to take her. If we declare we are a new woman, the evidence of the transformation should be applicable in our speech, perspective and maturity. The way we address others should be Christ like and premeditated in love. Our thinking and outlook on circumstances should be viewed as an opportunity for God to get glory through our lives, no matter how painful the situation may be. Lastly, there should be a glow of maturity in our way of life, the things that used to bother us should be able to be put under our heels as we look to the hills from where our true help comes from. Be blessed and be a blessing on every day of your life!

"Would The Real Women of God Stand Up"

Proverbs 31:10, "Who can find a virtuous wife? For her worth is far above rubies."

Ladies, we have entered a season of our lives where we can no longer straddle the fence in our professional, personal, nor spiritual lives. We have got to stand up and woman up! God isn't pleased at the way our generation handles our affairs in the sisterhood, motherhood nor our marriages. We have gone too long without producing growth and it's time for the real Women of God to take our places in our homes and communities. God is seeking some virtuous women-women of integrity, women who are about His business, women who mean what they say and say what they mean, women who maintain their homes and finances to set the tone and standard for the young ladies to model. As Women of God, we have to know before anyone validates us our worth because if you don't know your worth-others will place a value on your life. Stay focused, be committed to God and rise to every occasion that God grants you.

"God Is Going To See You Through"

Isaiah 61:3, "To comfort all who mourn, to console those who mourn in Zion, to give them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness."

Ladies, in this season of your life you have got to stay focused and speak life over your life! I need you to decree and declare over your life that God is going to see me through! No matter what you're going through, this too shall pass. God doesn't make any doors without an exit, remember that in the darkest hours of your life. If you sow in tears, you will reap in joy. God will send you the Holy Spirit as a comforter to hold you in the midnight hour, to console your troubled heart and if you hang in there and trust Him at His Word, He will give you beauty for your ashes! Meaning, if you press through the fire, God will make good on His Word and give you more than your heart can contain. I know things are heavy and sometimes you would like to throw in the towel, but you have got to stay in the game and know that God is going to give you a garment of praise to aid the spirit of heaviness you are having to endure. Be blessed and have a wonderful Easter!

" From Disgrace to Grace"

Isaiah 50:7, "For the Lord God will help Me; Therefore I will not be disgraced..."

Ladies, no matter what you've done in your life, always remember that you are a candidate to be helped by the Lord. Many times we get discouraged and embarrassed to go to God about the things we have done, but I assure you that whatever you have done or gone through, He can handle it and won't judge you. What I love about God is that whatever you tell Him will not end up on the streets. He has proven to me over and over that He is a Man of His Word and that we can find safety in the secret place that He has set aside for us all as believers. Don't worry about what you could have or should have done, God will take all of our sins and cast them into the sea of forgiveness. He ain't thinking about what you did, He wants to help you overcome! Will folks talk about you, absolutely, but you stay prayerful and focused! God is going to take you from disgrace to grace and when He does, be ever so careful to give Him all the glory! You don't owe man nothing! Be blessed and Be a Blessing!

"It Is Well With My Soul"

2 Kings 4:23, "So he said, "Why are you going to him today? it is neither the New Moon nor the Sabbath." And she said, "It is well."

Ladies, in this season of your life we are going to have to remain professional in our pain and take nothing personally. Those around you may not understand what God is doing in your life and those closest to you may question the God in you. Don't you sweat nor stumble! Every season of your life won't be easy, but God assures us that He will make things easier. Your dreams and circumstances may not make any sense to man, but God understands them all. Sometimes God separates us spiritually and physically from those we love to push us into a deeper relationship with Him and to show us how we are to lean on His understanding and acknowledge Him in all of our ways. God isn't like man, He can see beyond our NOW and plan for LATER. No matter what you're going through and how others question your trials and tribulations, simply smile through the tears and say, "It is Well." In spite of how BAD things are, God can make them WELL. Be blessed and be a blessing!

"Take Several Seats"

Luke 10:42,"But one thing is needed, and Mary has chosen that good part, which will not be taken away from her."

Ladies, in this season of our lives, if we truly want to hear from God we're going to have to sit down and listen to Him speak. Martha was so concerned about how things looked on the outside that she lost focus of how her spiritual house looked on the inside. As women, we often struggle with trying to be everything to everybody and trying to prove a point to others that we are strong and have it all together. Many of us need to examine Mary's preparation of welcoming Jesus into her home and act accordingly. Mary wasn't concerned about everything being together because she knew He would work all things together for her good. Along this journey, you can't be focused on what the people around you are doing, including family, you've got to focus on getting your own blessings and doing what's required to receive them. It's one thing to feel what you are doing is right, but always seek God to make sure you are righteous! It doesn't matter who comes up against you nor who questions what you are doing because what God has for you can't be taken away from you. Always remember, if you do right, He'll handle the wrong. Be blessed and be a blessing:)

"I Give Myself Away"

Ruth 1:17, "Where you die, I will die, and there I will be buried. The Lord do so to me, and more also, if anything but death parts you and me."

As we enter upon the week we have designated to honor and observe the preparation, crucifixion and resurrection of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, let us reflect on the trials and tribulations God has brought us out of and the victories that lie ahead. In this season of our lives, we're going to have to become more serious about giving ourselves away to the God who gave us His Only Begotten Son. Your salvation is a personal decision and we only change when we desire to see change within ourselves. This journey is not for little girls, we have to be willing to put our big girl panties on and be sold out to God no matter the cost! At a time where Ruth had lost everything she valued and regarded as precious, she walked in faith and womanhood and made the decision that she was willing to travel the distance with God and the woman He used to help her get to where she needed to be. Let's decree and declare over our lives that we give ourselves away to be used by a God who has allotted us a second chance at redemption. Be blessed and be a blessing!
