"Get Your Life"

1 Thessalonians 5:5, "But concerning the times and the seasons, brethren, you have no need that I should write to you."

Ladies, we don't have a single second to waste on determining if we're on the Lord's side. Times have changed and the seasons are coming so fast that we can't distinguish one from the other. God has given us sign after sign concerning the times and it's time for us to get our lives in order for the coming of the Lord. We don't have time like we used to have. Some things God is simply not going to tolerate and other things He simply won't repeat to us because there is no need. God laid the foundation for how we are to conduct ourselves as Women of God and it's far time that we start acting like it. God doesn't spend much time discussing children's conduct in the Bible because we are adults much longer than we are children. You nor I have any more excuses for not doing what we know in our hearts to be righteous. We can either get RIGHT or be LEFT! Get your life, so that you may have eternal life!

"We Ain't Got Time For That"

Mark 1:15, "The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand. Repent, and believe in the gospel."

Ladies, in this season of our lives, we don't have time to be going back and forth with folks who don't desire to see us move ahead. God has an assignment for you and only you can answer to the call that is on your life! True fulfillment comes from living out the Will of God in our daily living and by disciplining ourselves to pay the naysayers no mind. The time is now to get our houses in order and be the Women of God that He is seeking in this Hour. Our time should be devoted to the Gospel-not the Gossip. God's Kingdom is ready to move forward and we have to be equipped to carry forth the works of God. If you have done somebody wrong or if they have done you wrong, don't hold it against them or yourself, repent and believe in the Gospel of Christ that tells us that if God be for us, nobody can come against us! Stay focused, use your time wisely and give no room to the enemy to become available.

"My Pain will be my Praise."

Psalm 27:6, " And now my head shall be lifted up above my enemies all around me; Therefore I will offer sacrifices of joy in His tabernacle; I will sing, yes I will sing praises to the Lord."

Ladies, today is a new week to be the new woman you professed you would be in 2013. Every breath you take is another moment to get things right and to be righteous. We have to endure painful seasons in our lives to perfect our praise. If you hadn't gone through the attack, you would have never known that the joy of the Lord was your true strength, if you hadn't lost the best-friend, you would have never known you had a true friend in Jesus! It may not be your time, but in due season God will lift up a standard of praise against your pain and lift your head above all the adversaries and hell you have had to endure. In the meantime, sacrifice this season as a time of joy and give God the best of your service! Singing praises signals relief to the pain you are having to endure! I decree and declare that your Pain will be your Praise! Stay focused, be prayerful and know that this too shall pass. Be blessed and be a blessing!

"Be a Good Girl for Daddy"

2 Chronicles 19:11, "...Behave courageously, and the Lord will be with the good."

Ladies, this is our Year of Maturity and we are going to have to discipline ourselves to allow some things to roll off our back and some folks to roll out of our lives. Our Daddy needs us all to be His good girls! This isn't the season to come down to anyone's level, we have to stay in our own lane and fight the good fight of faith. Our attitude will determine our altitude and you've got to know that ain't nobody worth you stressing and stroking out over. In spite of what you are going through and growing out of, I encourage you to behave courageously and act like we got the good sense God gave us! It doesn't matter what transpires, God will be with the good and work things together for our good. Stay focused, prayerful and be the Woman that God has called us all to be in this Hour. The race isn't given to those who show out, it's handed to those who are willing to walk it out!

"I Look To You"

Psalm 142:8, "But my eyes are upon You, O God the Lord, In You I take refuge."

Ladies, we've made it through the eight week of 2013 and we've had plenty of time to get focused and get our spiritual homes in order. Wherever you are and wherever you stand, you are a qualified candidate to be covered under God's grace and mercy! In this season of your life, you can't focus on anybody but you and God! When our eyes are fixed on Him, we don't have to worry about the distraction of life. God is the only Man who will ensure that you are blessed in your going out and your coming in. Don't worry about what everybody else has going on, the Word of God encourages us to keep our eyes upon Him, Our God and Lord! It is God, not Girlfriends who keeps us in the valleys of life and who strengthens us in our times of weakness. We've got to stop looking for man to rescue us and take refuge in God because it is only through Him and because of Him that we all live, move and have our very being! Be blessed and continue to be a blessing:)

"You Don't Know Me Like That"

John 12:7, "But Jesus said,"Let her alone;she has kept this for the day of My burial."

Ladies, as long as you have breath in your body, your critics will always find fault with your faith, the way you live your life and the things you do to be of service to others. Don't ever allow the enemy to disservice you, always be a disservice to your adversary. I have learned along this journey that often times people who truly don't know you will judge your success without understanding your struggle. It is quite normal for you to want to defend your name and protect your character, but some battles are not worth the war that they create. It's always best to turn them into the Hands of God for further wrath. God may not speak when we feel He should speak, but He will handle those accordingly who speak against us. When you live a life of integrity, your character will speak well towards those who speak bad against you! If we allow folks to have the last word, Jesus will be more than happy to have the last word because He is the Word! Don't get frustrated, He knows who is messing with you and He has the perfect message for their mess! He will not only tell them, He will assist them in taking the several seats that they are afforded. Stay focused, you are still more than a conqueror and you can do all things through Christ-not Critics who strengthens you!

"No Cross, No Crown"

Job 42:12, "Now the Lord blessed the latter days of Job more than his beginning..."

Ladies, whatever you are going and growing through, I need you to receive in your spirit that greater is coming! God doesn't take you nor me through adversity just because He desires. When God is moving in your life, He shifts everything and sometimes the shift may be revealed in finances, illness, problems at work and home, ministry drama, children acting out or the closest person to you hurting you in a deep manner. In spite of your circumstances, know that God isn't stressing you, He's stretching you! Jesus, the Son of God walked the Earth circumspectly and did no wrong, however the people found fault with Him and crucified Him without just cause. We have to be like Jesus and see the faith picture. He understood that if He went through our latter would be better than His beginning and that we would have life and life more abundantly! Don't sweat the small stuff, these are all light afflictions and God will see you through them all!
No Cross, No Crown

"What God has for me, is not for You"

1 Samuel 16:10, "Thus Jesse made seven of his sons pass before Samuel. And Samuel said to Jesse, "The Lord has not chosen these."

Ladies, along your walk with the Lord, you will be tested physically, spiritually, and professionally. You will be overlooked by those who feel they are more important and better than you, but you respond professionally not painfully. David could have easily held hatred towards his seven brothers and his father, but David stay focused in the fields and remain faithful to the works of God. Your position, family name, ministry, etc..may seem SMALL to others, however we serve a BIG God! Wherever you give of your service, whether it be at McDonald's or Microsoft, honor the position and fulfill your requirements. What God has for you, is not for them! It may take several seasons to see the promises of God, but find encouragement and strength in knowing that while others are PICKED, you have been CHOSEN:) Be blessed and be a blessing!

"May the Works I've Done, Speak for Me"

Nehemiah 5:19, "Remember me, my God, for good, according to all that I have done for this people."

Ladies, along this spiritual journey you and I both are going to have to understand that success, accolades, positions, titles, the latest fashion and hair means absolutely nothing if we don't know God and serve Him. There is absolutely nothing wrong with having earthly things, but they have to align with our eternal affairs. My grandmother always told me as a little girl that "Only what we do for God will stand and allow my works to speak for me." It's best for God to REMEMBER us rather than man to THINK about us. In everything you do or pursue, always do Good by God and treat everyone you meet and greet with the respect that you would like afforded to you. Women of God are called to a service of servanthood and we have to work while it is day and do all that God has called us to do according to our faith and based on His power. Have a blessed weekend and remember that you can do all things, not some stuff through Christ who strengthens you!

"Watch Yo' Mouth"

Proverbs 31:26, " She opens her mouth with wisdom, and the teaching of kindness is on her tongue."

Ladies, we live in a society where many of our young girls and young ladies are not being raised in the fear and admonition of God. They don't think before speaking and many feel they can say whatever whenever. Discipline and discretion has become endangered qualities that we are going to have to bring back to life in the lives of those who are in the sisterhood. A Proverbs Woman is a Professional Lady and she uses her words wisely and speaks in wisdom. Before speaking, we should always consider the following...
1. Are we speaking as Ambassadors of God?
2. How will my words effect the person that I am speaking towards?
3. Can I live with what I am about to speak over someone's life?
In everything we do our pursue, we should always teach kindness and the love of Christ in our actions and reactions. As Women of God, we have to be ever so careful of ensuring that our walk aligns with our talk. If it doesn't fit, we should sit!
Be blessed and be a blessing!

"The Greatest Love of All"

John 15:13, "Greater love has no one than to lay down one's life for his friends."

Ladies, I extend my love to each of you today, but more importantly I invite you to experience the Love of Christ daily. Society tries to emphasize the gift of love on one day out of the year, but as Women of God it is our responsibility to show love to the greatest to the least along our journey. Many become depressed and anxious on Valentine's Day and it's simply a trick of the enemy. A woman can't love any man until she first loves the Man who first loved her! There is no greater magnitude of love expressed to us all than the Love of Christ who walked His talk and went beyond the call of duty to lay down His life so that we may have life and life more abundantly. No matter what happens on today, let not your heart be troubled, Jesus love is real, it heals and is open to all who are ready to receive it. Be blessed and be a blessing!

"An Unbreakable Woman"

Acts 20:24, "But none of these things move me; nor do I count my life dear to myself, so that I may finish my race with joy, and the ministry which I received from the Lord Jesus, to testify to the gospel of grace."

Ladies, 2013 has truly been the Year of Exposure and if you and I expect to get through, we're going to have to discipline ourselves to go through. In spite of what the naysayers do or pursue, don't allow their actions to move you! You may bend, but don't you break! You've got to know who you are in Christ and understand that our lives are not immune to being attacked nor crucified. We have to run our race in spite of the adversary trying to trick and trip us up so that we may experience joy in the victories of life. We all have a calling on our lives that only we can answer and God expects us to carry forth the work He has entrusted into our hearts. Always remember that your ministry, whether it be as a teacher, a banker, a daycare worker, a custodian, nurse, mother, wife, etc...is your place of service and an opportunity for you to testify of the goodness of God and a moment to extend grace to God's Children. Be blessed and unbreakable, the joy of the Lord is your eternal strength!

"There is a Message in My Mess"

James 1:2, "My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into various trials."

Ladies, 2013 may not have started out good for you, but it will work together for your good! Make no mistake about it, God doesn't take us through mess unless there is a message in the underlying. No matter what you are going through or growing out of, there is a message in the mess. God doesn't sit around and play jokes on us, He does things to bring a joy out of us. Wherever you find yourself on today, whether it be in financial chaos, having to endure the loss of a loved one, dealing with a difficult child,a divorce, the ending of a relationship or friendship, I encourage you to count it all joy when you go through trials and tribulations. If you hadn't gone through, many of us wouldn't know how to come out. Somebody along your journey whether it be a family member, friend, or foe will need to know how you went through so they can go through. No matter where you stand, God is standing with you and will give you an expected in. Be blessed and be a blessing:)
 I love you!

"Press Your Way Through"

Psalm 118:14, "The Lord is my strength and song, and is become my salvation."

Ladies, we have completed the sixth week of the New Year and if you desire to go and grow forward with God, you're going to have to look only to God for strength. Along this spiritual journey, take counsel from God and allow Him to process you into the Woman that He knew before He placed you in your mother's womb. It's in the dark seasons that we learn of who God is in a meaningful way. Some circumstances test us to show us how far we have truly come into our own as vessels of God. No matter what life brings your way, put some praise on it and always have a song in your heart! I love the song, "Press My Way Through." God truly has something awaiting us all, if we press our way through. Stay focused, continue to worship God and as the elders say "Try Jesus" and I assure you that He will become your salvation! Be blessed and be a blessing!

" That's a Strong Woman"

Galatians 6:9, "And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not."

Ladies, in this season of our lives, we are going to have to discipline our mind and hearts to not become discouraged by the times. God forewarns us that those of us who try to walk the straight and narrow will face heartache, disappointment, betrayals and hard times. Along your walk with God, the adversary will try its best to make you not want to press forward with weapons of distraction, but you stay focused and surround yourself with people who desire to see you succeed. God knows how much you can handle in each season of your life and whatever life throws at you, send it directly into God's Hands. In due season, you're going to reap the harvest of your hard work, dedication and commitment to God if you don't give up and throw in the towel!  Being a strong woman doesn't mean you can't be weakened, it means you are a candidate for being successful in the Kingdom of God! God never promised us that being a Woman of God would be easy, but He has assured us that He would make it easier. Be blessed and continue to be a blessing!

"It's Not Worth It"

Daniel 3:16, "Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-Nego answered and said to the king, "O" Nebuchadnezzar, we have no need to answer you in this matter."

Ladies, in this season of your life, we all have to discipline ourselves to think twice and speak once. There will be some people who come into your life to not show you who they are, but to reveal to you who you are. Some things aren't worth a reaction and some people aren't worthy of a response. We have to be peaceful and allow our character to enter every room we abide in before we do. The world will always test you to see where you stand with God when in reality they should focus on walking with Him in their own lives. Compromising who you are in God is not up for discussion and for those who attempt to sidetrack you, mean what you say and say what you mean with them. None of us have time to straddle the fence with friends, folks, nor family who are about playing games. Let's be strong like the three Hebrew Boys and speak on one accord and simply say "we have no need to answer you in this matter." God bless you and keep you along your journey! Always remember, there are more people for you than against you!

"Praise Is What I Do"

Psalm 34:1, "I will bless the Lord at all times: His praise shall continually be in my mouth."

We live in a society with people who haven't been taught the essence of worship and the importance of praise being used as a weapon against the enemy. Your worship to God has to become something you do as natural as breathing and it should be what we consort to when we grow discouraged along our journey. Worship is powerful and it shifts the atmosphere from fear to faith to favor. In spite of how things are around you, we have a command to bless the Lord in every season of our lives. Along my walk with God, I have learned that the more I praise Him, the better I feel! The elders used to tell us this as children and I didn't understand the entire scope of their words, but the higher we go in God, the more we become dependent on Him. In spite of what you encounter in your marriage, relationship, friendships and kinship don't allow the misfortunes of the season to take you back to the place that you promised yourself you wouldn't go to. Allow God's praise to continually be in your mouth-praise makes a difference when things go down. When your praises go up, by faith we know the blessings come down! More PRAISE-More POWER! Be blessed and let praise be what you do!

"I Can't Go For That"

Psalms 1:1, "Blessed is the man who walks not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor stands in the path of sinners. Nor sits in the seat of the scornful."

Ladies, in this season of your life, there are some places and some circumstances that you can't go for in 2013. The Word of God declares that we are blessed when we discipline ourselves to not walk around nor clique up in circles of the ungodly. You nor I don't need half of the people we feel we need to be sociable, successful, and spiritual. The most successful women will tell you that they got to where they are by not compromising, being authentic, and being obedient to voice of God and not their Girlfriends. It is very important that we are mindful of not only where we walk, but also where we stand and sit. The Scripture says, we are not at liberty to stand in the path of sinners, meaning we have to back away and get out of the way from people who are not good for our walk with God. Not everybody will like the efforts and changes you have made and that's their problem and not your issue. Don't sit with scornful people nor entertain their foolishness, you are not required to do so. Be blessed and do what it takes to remain pure and holy before God.

"You Don't Need A Man"

Luke1:34, "Then Mary said to the angel, "How can this be, since I do not know a man?"

Ladies, in 2013 a new perspective is needed to get us to where we desire to be in relationship with God. We often examine our lives, careers, ministries, marriages, relationships and friendships in the flesh when God is pushing us towards using our spiritual shades. What God is birthing out of your womb doesn't require a man!  We often rely on man to help push us into our destiny, but God is God and God all by Himself! The things He is doing in your life only require you to have a receiving womb, discretion, and faith. It's okay to ask God questions along your journey because some events and miracles in the human will not make any sense to you, but hold on to your faith and trust our supernatural God. Often times God will cause events in our life to show others that they aren't necessary for you to prosper on the next level. As my grandmother always says, "All you need is Jesus Baby" and the same rule is applicable to your life. We don't need man as half as much as we feel we do. Stay focused and know that whatever God promised you in 2013 will come to pass and into fruition. Be blessed and continue to be a blessing!

"Lift Every Voice"

Proverbs 31:8, "Open your mouth for the speechless, In the case of all who are appointed to die."

Today marks the commemorative month of African-American History and it is an appointed time that we should all schedule as a month to teach our children, family, church, ministries, and wherever we give of our service about the spirit of excellency. Many people of all creeds have died so that we may live and we have to be ever so careful of not dishonoring their efforts. The Proverbs Woman has no choice but to open her mouth for those who aren't well-versed. God has equipped us with everything we need to be good stewards and teachers of the Gospel of Christ. Our nation is dying and as Women of God, we are responsible and accountable for raising a generation of young women and men in the fear and admonition of God. We perish for a lack of knowledge, but the information is available. Let us strive to be a blessing to all whom we encounter in every season of our lives.
