New Weapons~New Woman

1 Corinthian 13:11, "When I was a child, I spoke as a child, I understood as a child, but when I became a (wo)man, I put away childish things."

In this season of New Beginning, we all have been afforded the opportunity of growth and the ability to walk as mature women of God. We no longer can hold to the curtails of yesterday nor the excuses of years ago. If you want to change, the change begins with every woman looking in the mirror and taking inventory of what she is and where she desires for God to take her. If we declare we are a new woman, the evidence of the transformation should be applicable in our speech, perspective and maturity. The way we address others should be Christ like and premeditated in love. Our thinking and outlook on circumstances should be viewed as an opportunity for God to get glory through our lives, no matter how painful the situation may be. Lastly, there should be a glow of maturity in our way of life, the things that used to bother us should be able to be put under our heels as we look to the hills from where our true help comes from. Be blessed and be a blessing on every day of your life!

"Would The Real Women of God Stand Up"

Proverbs 31:10, "Who can find a virtuous wife? For her worth is far above rubies."

Ladies, we have entered a season of our lives where we can no longer straddle the fence in our professional, personal, nor spiritual lives. We have got to stand up and woman up! God isn't pleased at the way our generation handles our affairs in the sisterhood, motherhood nor our marriages. We have gone too long without producing growth and it's time for the real Women of God to take our places in our homes and communities. God is seeking some virtuous women-women of integrity, women who are about His business, women who mean what they say and say what they mean, women who maintain their homes and finances to set the tone and standard for the young ladies to model. As Women of God, we have to know before anyone validates us our worth because if you don't know your worth-others will place a value on your life. Stay focused, be committed to God and rise to every occasion that God grants you.

"God Is Going To See You Through"

Isaiah 61:3, "To comfort all who mourn, to console those who mourn in Zion, to give them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness."

Ladies, in this season of your life you have got to stay focused and speak life over your life! I need you to decree and declare over your life that God is going to see me through! No matter what you're going through, this too shall pass. God doesn't make any doors without an exit, remember that in the darkest hours of your life. If you sow in tears, you will reap in joy. God will send you the Holy Spirit as a comforter to hold you in the midnight hour, to console your troubled heart and if you hang in there and trust Him at His Word, He will give you beauty for your ashes! Meaning, if you press through the fire, God will make good on His Word and give you more than your heart can contain. I know things are heavy and sometimes you would like to throw in the towel, but you have got to stay in the game and know that God is going to give you a garment of praise to aid the spirit of heaviness you are having to endure. Be blessed and have a wonderful Easter!

" From Disgrace to Grace"

Isaiah 50:7, "For the Lord God will help Me; Therefore I will not be disgraced..."

Ladies, no matter what you've done in your life, always remember that you are a candidate to be helped by the Lord. Many times we get discouraged and embarrassed to go to God about the things we have done, but I assure you that whatever you have done or gone through, He can handle it and won't judge you. What I love about God is that whatever you tell Him will not end up on the streets. He has proven to me over and over that He is a Man of His Word and that we can find safety in the secret place that He has set aside for us all as believers. Don't worry about what you could have or should have done, God will take all of our sins and cast them into the sea of forgiveness. He ain't thinking about what you did, He wants to help you overcome! Will folks talk about you, absolutely, but you stay prayerful and focused! God is going to take you from disgrace to grace and when He does, be ever so careful to give Him all the glory! You don't owe man nothing! Be blessed and Be a Blessing!

"It Is Well With My Soul"

2 Kings 4:23, "So he said, "Why are you going to him today? it is neither the New Moon nor the Sabbath." And she said, "It is well."

Ladies, in this season of your life we are going to have to remain professional in our pain and take nothing personally. Those around you may not understand what God is doing in your life and those closest to you may question the God in you. Don't you sweat nor stumble! Every season of your life won't be easy, but God assures us that He will make things easier. Your dreams and circumstances may not make any sense to man, but God understands them all. Sometimes God separates us spiritually and physically from those we love to push us into a deeper relationship with Him and to show us how we are to lean on His understanding and acknowledge Him in all of our ways. God isn't like man, He can see beyond our NOW and plan for LATER. No matter what you're going through and how others question your trials and tribulations, simply smile through the tears and say, "It is Well." In spite of how BAD things are, God can make them WELL. Be blessed and be a blessing!

"Take Several Seats"

Luke 10:42,"But one thing is needed, and Mary has chosen that good part, which will not be taken away from her."

Ladies, in this season of our lives, if we truly want to hear from God we're going to have to sit down and listen to Him speak. Martha was so concerned about how things looked on the outside that she lost focus of how her spiritual house looked on the inside. As women, we often struggle with trying to be everything to everybody and trying to prove a point to others that we are strong and have it all together. Many of us need to examine Mary's preparation of welcoming Jesus into her home and act accordingly. Mary wasn't concerned about everything being together because she knew He would work all things together for her good. Along this journey, you can't be focused on what the people around you are doing, including family, you've got to focus on getting your own blessings and doing what's required to receive them. It's one thing to feel what you are doing is right, but always seek God to make sure you are righteous! It doesn't matter who comes up against you nor who questions what you are doing because what God has for you can't be taken away from you. Always remember, if you do right, He'll handle the wrong. Be blessed and be a blessing:)

"I Give Myself Away"

Ruth 1:17, "Where you die, I will die, and there I will be buried. The Lord do so to me, and more also, if anything but death parts you and me."

As we enter upon the week we have designated to honor and observe the preparation, crucifixion and resurrection of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, let us reflect on the trials and tribulations God has brought us out of and the victories that lie ahead. In this season of our lives, we're going to have to become more serious about giving ourselves away to the God who gave us His Only Begotten Son. Your salvation is a personal decision and we only change when we desire to see change within ourselves. This journey is not for little girls, we have to be willing to put our big girl panties on and be sold out to God no matter the cost! At a time where Ruth had lost everything she valued and regarded as precious, she walked in faith and womanhood and made the decision that she was willing to travel the distance with God and the woman He used to help her get to where she needed to be. Let's decree and declare over our lives that we give ourselves away to be used by a God who has allotted us a second chance at redemption. Be blessed and be a blessing!

" Here I am God, Show Me The Way"

Psalm 86:11, "Teach me Your way, O Lord; I will walk in Your truth; Unite my heart to fear Your name."

Ladies, in this season of our lives, we're going to have to sit down, be silent and ask God to show us the way! God is rich in wisdom and knowledge, but we have to be humble enough to ask for it. What I love about God is that His Ways are not our ways and His Thoughts are not like our own. As a little girl, the choir in my childhood church sung a song that simply said, "Lord show me the way, I am down here Lord and I need your power." In spite of how you were raised, the mistakes you have made, and the heartache you have experienced, God is still awaiting to give you wisdom and understanding on why you had to go through and the reason you were worthy of bringing out! On every day that God gives you the opportunity to walk in His statutes, walk in His Truth and not in the knowledge of man. God's Word will speak for itself and will lead you to an expected end, man's words will lead you to a dead end. In all your ways, always remember to unite your heart with God and fear Him in a healthy manner. For the wages of sin will always be death, but the gift of God is eternal life. Be blessed and be a blessing!

"There is Still Hope For Me"

2 Corinthians 4:1,"Therefore, since we have this ministry, as we have received mercy, we do not lose heart."

Ladies, in spite of how you feel, there is still hope for you! Sometimes God takes us through trials and tribulations to simply show you that He can bring us out. The calling on your life can be overwhelming at times, friends may become few, and sometimes you may be isolated from the world. In those times, you've got to draw your strength from the Word of God that you received through God's Mercy upon our lives. Find eternal strength in knowing that the joy of the Lord is your strength and in due season God will give you a garment of praise for all the hell you have had to endure along this journey. It doesn't matter how many people FORGET about you, God will always REMEMBER you:) Don't lose heart, many are the afflictions of a righteous woman, but if you hold on to God and His Word,He assures us that He will deliver us from them all. Be blessed and be a blessing:)

" A Woman After God's Own Heart"

Psalm 139:23-24, "Search me, O God, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts. See if there is any offensive way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting."

Ladies, in this season of our lives, we're going to have to be still and know that God is God and besides Him there is none other! Take some meditation time and ask God to search and seal everything that is not of Him from your heart. Ask God to search and seek through the innermost parts of your heart that you felt were incapable of being healed and ask God to create in you a clean heart and renew the righteous spirit of God within you. Only God knows who you are truly because He created you and He will take you through tests to show you who you are. Ask God to take away the anxious thoughts you get when someone attacks you, when the family member betrays you and those feelings you have towards the friend who walked away without a just cause. Sometimes we have issues in our hearts that lie dormant until someone picks at them and brings them to life. That's why we have to be ever so careful to ask God to wash our minds and renew our hearts of sin and ill feelings daily to ensure that we are in good standing with our Creator. For it is only God who can lead us in the way of everlasting. Be blessed and continue to bless others:)

"God, it's in your Hands."

Luke 1:38, "Then Mary said, "Behold the maidservant of the Lord! Let it be to me according to your word." And the angel departed from her."

Ladies, in this season of your life you are going to simply have to place everything into God's Hands and allow His will to be done in your life. Some things you won't understand, but if you trust God He will give you the wisdom to know the difference. What I love about the Biblical Women is they had such a tenacity to do God's Will and serve and worship Him in spite of not knowing how things would turn out. That's the definition of true faith, when you can walk with God and not have the slightest clue of where you are going. When you stay with God, He will never lead you to a dead end, but a divine route is always in His plans. Whatever you are going through and growing out of, be like Mary and stand firm on the Word of God and say "Let it be to me according to your word." When you stand on the promises of God, He is not short concerning His Word. I pray you be blessed and continue to be a blessing to others!

"Get On My Level"

James 5:20, "For the wrath of man does not produce the righteousness of God."

Ladies, if you truly want to go higher in God we're going to have to stop going down to other folks' level. We're in a society that feels you have to fight every battle and start every war with false information and half of the truth. Let's never forget that the battle is not ours, it will always be the Lord's and when trials and tribulations come, we should throw the people involved directly into God's Hands. Many of us forget that God can bare and deal with anything we are going through and bring us out! At times, it is discouraging when our enemies look like they have the upper hand, but you still have to keep them in God's Hands! You can't worry about their wrath, God will wrap things up and work everything together for your good! Always remember, our wrath produces pain, God's works produces purpose.

"A Woman Of Order"

Proverbs 31:27, "She watches over the ways of her household...."

Ladies, in this season of our lives we are going to have to focus on our household and maintaining order in our marriage, children, finances, and cleanliness of our homes. When I was a little girl women honored their households and said with such pride that "You could eat off their floor." We often get so involved in what others have going on in their lives that we neglect our own livelihood. One thing is for sure, if you don't run your home, the enemy will take over and set up shop! Our young ladies and young men have grown unaccustomed to ironing, washing the dishes, taking out the trash, etc...because as women of the home, many of us haven't done well in those areas. When our homes are out of order, the people who abide therein are out of order and there is no peace. Order brings peace into our lives and according to the Word of God, blessed are peacemakers. In your down time, establish a plan of order to gain a healthy balance of control over the ways of your household. Seek God in prayer for directives on the way you should go- a good woman's steps are ordered by God-not Girlfriends. Be blessed and be a blessing to your home:)

"Speak Life Over Your Life"

Luke 18:27, "But He said, "The things which are impossible with men are possible with God."

Welcome to another week of expectation of receiving the best that God has for your life! In spite of how tough the economy is and the hardness of our society's heart, God will keep His Own! You don't have to worry about tomorrow because God holds tomorrow in His Hands. Along your journey, you will feel left alone and defeated in some seasons of your life and it may seem impossible to go forth. In those times, know that God specializes in things that are impossible!  is quick to serve a death sentence over one's life and circumstances and make one feel that there is no way that they can bounce back from the hell they are encountering. That's why we have to be ever so careful of being mindful of what we speak on our life and over other's lives because many folks have murdered people by the words that spring forth from their tongue. Always walk by faith and not by what the enemy wants you to see! God places us in IMPOSSIBLE situations to prove and show to us that He is a Possible God!  Be blessed and be a blessing!

"Moving Forward in Faith"

Philippians 3:13,..." Forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead."

Ladies, I pray you all have pushed your clocks forward and also yourself:) Time isn't the only thing that should push forward, we have to find the endurance to do so as well. 2013 may not feel good, but if you continue to press forward, it will work together for your good! We can't go back and forth with family, friends nor folks concerning our lives in this season. We have to forget those things which are behind us from past seasons and reach forward to those things which are ahead! What's coming is better than what's been if you stay focused and keep your eyes on God. Pain affects every person differently and the best thing we can all do is adjust accordingly. In spite of how it may feel, weeping may only endure for a night and there are more people for you than against you:) Be blessed and be a blessing!

"Girl,Get Your Fight Back!"

2 Timothy 4:7, "I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith."

Ladies, in this season of your life it's time to fight not flight! Whether it be your marriage, relationship, household, children, family, job, finances, illness, etc...girl it's time to get your fight back! You have come to far to give up on God's promises for your life! You have to hold on, press your way through, be discreet and fight in faith and not fear! God hasn't given a WOMAN the spirit of fear, but of power, love and a sound mind. Don't ever allow the enemy to come in and take over what is rightfully yours! You have to fight the good fight when you are tired, discouraged and feel all alone! Fight through the fears and tears and pray, only you can walk out your salvation. You have to fight and run in a way that is graceful and victorious. Defeat is not an option for a Woman of God, keep the faith and know that it may not feel good, but in due season it will work together for your good! Be blessed and be a blessing:)

"Woman of Worship"

Job 1:20, "The Job arose, tore his robe, and shaved his head; and he fell to the ground and worshiped."

Ladies, 2013 has become the year of transition and change and in spite of everything we endure and encounter, we have to bless the Lord at all times and His praise has to be continually in our mouths! Most women today don't want to go through or grow out of anything because most haven't been taught the art of sacrifice. When Job finances were attacked, his children were killed, and his livelihood was destroyed he acted in maturity and did what was the godly thing to do. He arose, got naked before God and fell down to his knees to worship God! When going through your circumstances, we should take the blueprint that Job has set before us and arise from the problem and worship God! Anybody can praise God, even birds sing, but true worship is our sacrifice to God and isn't prompted by music, it is triggered through pain. I encourage you all to continue to look to the hills and stay focused and don't look back. It may get lonely, you may feel isolated and discouraged, but it's in those times that you truly learn that the joy of the Lord is your eternal strength! Be blessed and be a blessing!

"Woman of Excellency"

Titus 2:3, "That the older women likewise, that they be reverent in behavior, not slanderers, not given to much wine, teachers of good things."

Ladies, we are God's Chosen Vessels of Leadership and with that comes much sacrifice, prayer and not getting along to get along. You nor I have time to be straddling the fence in this hour. God has given us a blueprint of excellency and we have to live on a higher standard of sisterhood. No woman gets a pass out of womanhood-there is no opting out of the sisterhood. Our generation and the upcoming young ladies need a solid foundation and vision of what a Woman of God is and how she is to operate in a society that has thrown God to the back of the agenda. We are to be reverent in our behavior meaning we have to fear God and live a righteous lifestyle among others. We don't have time to be slandering our sisters with our mouth nor do we have time to be getting drunk at clubs. God has called us to be teachers of good things which requires God's Word. Let's teach our young ladies and little girls how to walk and talk with the Mind of Christ and how to be the standard that others are seeking. Always be excellent and a living testimony of the power of God! Others are watching our walk, much more than our talk! Be blessed and be a blessing!

"Leaning and Learning"

Proverbs 3:5, "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding."

Ladies, in this season of your life, you're going to have to discipline your mind and heart to trust in the Lord! We are quick to trust a man, but slow in trusting the Son of Man. In everything you plan to do or pursue, you're going to have to guard your heart and allow God to defend it. Learning to lean on God is a level of maturity that takes patience and experiences to truly develop your faith. We have grown accustomed to seeking Girlfriends and not God, but if we expect to go higher in our marriages, relationships, careers, education, etc...we're going to have to start leaning and learning from God! God is the only Man who can give us perspective and understanding on the things we endure and encounter on our daily journey. People can give us reasons, but God gives us understanding-there is a difference. Take some time this week to study the Word of God and to seek Him for understanding on the things you don't understand. Be blessed and Be a Blessing!

"Get Your Life"

1 Thessalonians 5:5, "But concerning the times and the seasons, brethren, you have no need that I should write to you."

Ladies, we don't have a single second to waste on determining if we're on the Lord's side. Times have changed and the seasons are coming so fast that we can't distinguish one from the other. God has given us sign after sign concerning the times and it's time for us to get our lives in order for the coming of the Lord. We don't have time like we used to have. Some things God is simply not going to tolerate and other things He simply won't repeat to us because there is no need. God laid the foundation for how we are to conduct ourselves as Women of God and it's far time that we start acting like it. God doesn't spend much time discussing children's conduct in the Bible because we are adults much longer than we are children. You nor I have any more excuses for not doing what we know in our hearts to be righteous. We can either get RIGHT or be LEFT! Get your life, so that you may have eternal life!

"We Ain't Got Time For That"

Mark 1:15, "The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand. Repent, and believe in the gospel."

Ladies, in this season of our lives, we don't have time to be going back and forth with folks who don't desire to see us move ahead. God has an assignment for you and only you can answer to the call that is on your life! True fulfillment comes from living out the Will of God in our daily living and by disciplining ourselves to pay the naysayers no mind. The time is now to get our houses in order and be the Women of God that He is seeking in this Hour. Our time should be devoted to the Gospel-not the Gossip. God's Kingdom is ready to move forward and we have to be equipped to carry forth the works of God. If you have done somebody wrong or if they have done you wrong, don't hold it against them or yourself, repent and believe in the Gospel of Christ that tells us that if God be for us, nobody can come against us! Stay focused, use your time wisely and give no room to the enemy to become available.

"My Pain will be my Praise."

Psalm 27:6, " And now my head shall be lifted up above my enemies all around me; Therefore I will offer sacrifices of joy in His tabernacle; I will sing, yes I will sing praises to the Lord."

Ladies, today is a new week to be the new woman you professed you would be in 2013. Every breath you take is another moment to get things right and to be righteous. We have to endure painful seasons in our lives to perfect our praise. If you hadn't gone through the attack, you would have never known that the joy of the Lord was your true strength, if you hadn't lost the best-friend, you would have never known you had a true friend in Jesus! It may not be your time, but in due season God will lift up a standard of praise against your pain and lift your head above all the adversaries and hell you have had to endure. In the meantime, sacrifice this season as a time of joy and give God the best of your service! Singing praises signals relief to the pain you are having to endure! I decree and declare that your Pain will be your Praise! Stay focused, be prayerful and know that this too shall pass. Be blessed and be a blessing!

"Be a Good Girl for Daddy"

2 Chronicles 19:11, "...Behave courageously, and the Lord will be with the good."

Ladies, this is our Year of Maturity and we are going to have to discipline ourselves to allow some things to roll off our back and some folks to roll out of our lives. Our Daddy needs us all to be His good girls! This isn't the season to come down to anyone's level, we have to stay in our own lane and fight the good fight of faith. Our attitude will determine our altitude and you've got to know that ain't nobody worth you stressing and stroking out over. In spite of what you are going through and growing out of, I encourage you to behave courageously and act like we got the good sense God gave us! It doesn't matter what transpires, God will be with the good and work things together for our good. Stay focused, prayerful and be the Woman that God has called us all to be in this Hour. The race isn't given to those who show out, it's handed to those who are willing to walk it out!

"I Look To You"

Psalm 142:8, "But my eyes are upon You, O God the Lord, In You I take refuge."

Ladies, we've made it through the eight week of 2013 and we've had plenty of time to get focused and get our spiritual homes in order. Wherever you are and wherever you stand, you are a qualified candidate to be covered under God's grace and mercy! In this season of your life, you can't focus on anybody but you and God! When our eyes are fixed on Him, we don't have to worry about the distraction of life. God is the only Man who will ensure that you are blessed in your going out and your coming in. Don't worry about what everybody else has going on, the Word of God encourages us to keep our eyes upon Him, Our God and Lord! It is God, not Girlfriends who keeps us in the valleys of life and who strengthens us in our times of weakness. We've got to stop looking for man to rescue us and take refuge in God because it is only through Him and because of Him that we all live, move and have our very being! Be blessed and continue to be a blessing:)

"You Don't Know Me Like That"

John 12:7, "But Jesus said,"Let her alone;she has kept this for the day of My burial."

Ladies, as long as you have breath in your body, your critics will always find fault with your faith, the way you live your life and the things you do to be of service to others. Don't ever allow the enemy to disservice you, always be a disservice to your adversary. I have learned along this journey that often times people who truly don't know you will judge your success without understanding your struggle. It is quite normal for you to want to defend your name and protect your character, but some battles are not worth the war that they create. It's always best to turn them into the Hands of God for further wrath. God may not speak when we feel He should speak, but He will handle those accordingly who speak against us. When you live a life of integrity, your character will speak well towards those who speak bad against you! If we allow folks to have the last word, Jesus will be more than happy to have the last word because He is the Word! Don't get frustrated, He knows who is messing with you and He has the perfect message for their mess! He will not only tell them, He will assist them in taking the several seats that they are afforded. Stay focused, you are still more than a conqueror and you can do all things through Christ-not Critics who strengthens you!

"No Cross, No Crown"

Job 42:12, "Now the Lord blessed the latter days of Job more than his beginning..."

Ladies, whatever you are going and growing through, I need you to receive in your spirit that greater is coming! God doesn't take you nor me through adversity just because He desires. When God is moving in your life, He shifts everything and sometimes the shift may be revealed in finances, illness, problems at work and home, ministry drama, children acting out or the closest person to you hurting you in a deep manner. In spite of your circumstances, know that God isn't stressing you, He's stretching you! Jesus, the Son of God walked the Earth circumspectly and did no wrong, however the people found fault with Him and crucified Him without just cause. We have to be like Jesus and see the faith picture. He understood that if He went through our latter would be better than His beginning and that we would have life and life more abundantly! Don't sweat the small stuff, these are all light afflictions and God will see you through them all!
No Cross, No Crown

"What God has for me, is not for You"

1 Samuel 16:10, "Thus Jesse made seven of his sons pass before Samuel. And Samuel said to Jesse, "The Lord has not chosen these."

Ladies, along your walk with the Lord, you will be tested physically, spiritually, and professionally. You will be overlooked by those who feel they are more important and better than you, but you respond professionally not painfully. David could have easily held hatred towards his seven brothers and his father, but David stay focused in the fields and remain faithful to the works of God. Your position, family name, ministry, etc..may seem SMALL to others, however we serve a BIG God! Wherever you give of your service, whether it be at McDonald's or Microsoft, honor the position and fulfill your requirements. What God has for you, is not for them! It may take several seasons to see the promises of God, but find encouragement and strength in knowing that while others are PICKED, you have been CHOSEN:) Be blessed and be a blessing!

"May the Works I've Done, Speak for Me"

Nehemiah 5:19, "Remember me, my God, for good, according to all that I have done for this people."

Ladies, along this spiritual journey you and I both are going to have to understand that success, accolades, positions, titles, the latest fashion and hair means absolutely nothing if we don't know God and serve Him. There is absolutely nothing wrong with having earthly things, but they have to align with our eternal affairs. My grandmother always told me as a little girl that "Only what we do for God will stand and allow my works to speak for me." It's best for God to REMEMBER us rather than man to THINK about us. In everything you do or pursue, always do Good by God and treat everyone you meet and greet with the respect that you would like afforded to you. Women of God are called to a service of servanthood and we have to work while it is day and do all that God has called us to do according to our faith and based on His power. Have a blessed weekend and remember that you can do all things, not some stuff through Christ who strengthens you!

"Watch Yo' Mouth"

Proverbs 31:26, " She opens her mouth with wisdom, and the teaching of kindness is on her tongue."

Ladies, we live in a society where many of our young girls and young ladies are not being raised in the fear and admonition of God. They don't think before speaking and many feel they can say whatever whenever. Discipline and discretion has become endangered qualities that we are going to have to bring back to life in the lives of those who are in the sisterhood. A Proverbs Woman is a Professional Lady and she uses her words wisely and speaks in wisdom. Before speaking, we should always consider the following...
1. Are we speaking as Ambassadors of God?
2. How will my words effect the person that I am speaking towards?
3. Can I live with what I am about to speak over someone's life?
In everything we do our pursue, we should always teach kindness and the love of Christ in our actions and reactions. As Women of God, we have to be ever so careful of ensuring that our walk aligns with our talk. If it doesn't fit, we should sit!
Be blessed and be a blessing!

"The Greatest Love of All"

John 15:13, "Greater love has no one than to lay down one's life for his friends."

Ladies, I extend my love to each of you today, but more importantly I invite you to experience the Love of Christ daily. Society tries to emphasize the gift of love on one day out of the year, but as Women of God it is our responsibility to show love to the greatest to the least along our journey. Many become depressed and anxious on Valentine's Day and it's simply a trick of the enemy. A woman can't love any man until she first loves the Man who first loved her! There is no greater magnitude of love expressed to us all than the Love of Christ who walked His talk and went beyond the call of duty to lay down His life so that we may have life and life more abundantly. No matter what happens on today, let not your heart be troubled, Jesus love is real, it heals and is open to all who are ready to receive it. Be blessed and be a blessing!

"An Unbreakable Woman"

Acts 20:24, "But none of these things move me; nor do I count my life dear to myself, so that I may finish my race with joy, and the ministry which I received from the Lord Jesus, to testify to the gospel of grace."

Ladies, 2013 has truly been the Year of Exposure and if you and I expect to get through, we're going to have to discipline ourselves to go through. In spite of what the naysayers do or pursue, don't allow their actions to move you! You may bend, but don't you break! You've got to know who you are in Christ and understand that our lives are not immune to being attacked nor crucified. We have to run our race in spite of the adversary trying to trick and trip us up so that we may experience joy in the victories of life. We all have a calling on our lives that only we can answer and God expects us to carry forth the work He has entrusted into our hearts. Always remember that your ministry, whether it be as a teacher, a banker, a daycare worker, a custodian, nurse, mother, wife, etc...is your place of service and an opportunity for you to testify of the goodness of God and a moment to extend grace to God's Children. Be blessed and unbreakable, the joy of the Lord is your eternal strength!

"There is a Message in My Mess"

James 1:2, "My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into various trials."

Ladies, 2013 may not have started out good for you, but it will work together for your good! Make no mistake about it, God doesn't take us through mess unless there is a message in the underlying. No matter what you are going through or growing out of, there is a message in the mess. God doesn't sit around and play jokes on us, He does things to bring a joy out of us. Wherever you find yourself on today, whether it be in financial chaos, having to endure the loss of a loved one, dealing with a difficult child,a divorce, the ending of a relationship or friendship, I encourage you to count it all joy when you go through trials and tribulations. If you hadn't gone through, many of us wouldn't know how to come out. Somebody along your journey whether it be a family member, friend, or foe will need to know how you went through so they can go through. No matter where you stand, God is standing with you and will give you an expected in. Be blessed and be a blessing:)
 I love you!

"Press Your Way Through"

Psalm 118:14, "The Lord is my strength and song, and is become my salvation."

Ladies, we have completed the sixth week of the New Year and if you desire to go and grow forward with God, you're going to have to look only to God for strength. Along this spiritual journey, take counsel from God and allow Him to process you into the Woman that He knew before He placed you in your mother's womb. It's in the dark seasons that we learn of who God is in a meaningful way. Some circumstances test us to show us how far we have truly come into our own as vessels of God. No matter what life brings your way, put some praise on it and always have a song in your heart! I love the song, "Press My Way Through." God truly has something awaiting us all, if we press our way through. Stay focused, continue to worship God and as the elders say "Try Jesus" and I assure you that He will become your salvation! Be blessed and be a blessing!

" That's a Strong Woman"

Galatians 6:9, "And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not."

Ladies, in this season of our lives, we are going to have to discipline our mind and hearts to not become discouraged by the times. God forewarns us that those of us who try to walk the straight and narrow will face heartache, disappointment, betrayals and hard times. Along your walk with God, the adversary will try its best to make you not want to press forward with weapons of distraction, but you stay focused and surround yourself with people who desire to see you succeed. God knows how much you can handle in each season of your life and whatever life throws at you, send it directly into God's Hands. In due season, you're going to reap the harvest of your hard work, dedication and commitment to God if you don't give up and throw in the towel!  Being a strong woman doesn't mean you can't be weakened, it means you are a candidate for being successful in the Kingdom of God! God never promised us that being a Woman of God would be easy, but He has assured us that He would make it easier. Be blessed and continue to be a blessing!

"It's Not Worth It"

Daniel 3:16, "Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-Nego answered and said to the king, "O" Nebuchadnezzar, we have no need to answer you in this matter."

Ladies, in this season of your life, we all have to discipline ourselves to think twice and speak once. There will be some people who come into your life to not show you who they are, but to reveal to you who you are. Some things aren't worth a reaction and some people aren't worthy of a response. We have to be peaceful and allow our character to enter every room we abide in before we do. The world will always test you to see where you stand with God when in reality they should focus on walking with Him in their own lives. Compromising who you are in God is not up for discussion and for those who attempt to sidetrack you, mean what you say and say what you mean with them. None of us have time to straddle the fence with friends, folks, nor family who are about playing games. Let's be strong like the three Hebrew Boys and speak on one accord and simply say "we have no need to answer you in this matter." God bless you and keep you along your journey! Always remember, there are more people for you than against you!

"Praise Is What I Do"

Psalm 34:1, "I will bless the Lord at all times: His praise shall continually be in my mouth."

We live in a society with people who haven't been taught the essence of worship and the importance of praise being used as a weapon against the enemy. Your worship to God has to become something you do as natural as breathing and it should be what we consort to when we grow discouraged along our journey. Worship is powerful and it shifts the atmosphere from fear to faith to favor. In spite of how things are around you, we have a command to bless the Lord in every season of our lives. Along my walk with God, I have learned that the more I praise Him, the better I feel! The elders used to tell us this as children and I didn't understand the entire scope of their words, but the higher we go in God, the more we become dependent on Him. In spite of what you encounter in your marriage, relationship, friendships and kinship don't allow the misfortunes of the season to take you back to the place that you promised yourself you wouldn't go to. Allow God's praise to continually be in your mouth-praise makes a difference when things go down. When your praises go up, by faith we know the blessings come down! More PRAISE-More POWER! Be blessed and let praise be what you do!

"I Can't Go For That"

Psalms 1:1, "Blessed is the man who walks not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor stands in the path of sinners. Nor sits in the seat of the scornful."

Ladies, in this season of your life, there are some places and some circumstances that you can't go for in 2013. The Word of God declares that we are blessed when we discipline ourselves to not walk around nor clique up in circles of the ungodly. You nor I don't need half of the people we feel we need to be sociable, successful, and spiritual. The most successful women will tell you that they got to where they are by not compromising, being authentic, and being obedient to voice of God and not their Girlfriends. It is very important that we are mindful of not only where we walk, but also where we stand and sit. The Scripture says, we are not at liberty to stand in the path of sinners, meaning we have to back away and get out of the way from people who are not good for our walk with God. Not everybody will like the efforts and changes you have made and that's their problem and not your issue. Don't sit with scornful people nor entertain their foolishness, you are not required to do so. Be blessed and do what it takes to remain pure and holy before God.

"You Don't Need A Man"

Luke1:34, "Then Mary said to the angel, "How can this be, since I do not know a man?"

Ladies, in 2013 a new perspective is needed to get us to where we desire to be in relationship with God. We often examine our lives, careers, ministries, marriages, relationships and friendships in the flesh when God is pushing us towards using our spiritual shades. What God is birthing out of your womb doesn't require a man!  We often rely on man to help push us into our destiny, but God is God and God all by Himself! The things He is doing in your life only require you to have a receiving womb, discretion, and faith. It's okay to ask God questions along your journey because some events and miracles in the human will not make any sense to you, but hold on to your faith and trust our supernatural God. Often times God will cause events in our life to show others that they aren't necessary for you to prosper on the next level. As my grandmother always says, "All you need is Jesus Baby" and the same rule is applicable to your life. We don't need man as half as much as we feel we do. Stay focused and know that whatever God promised you in 2013 will come to pass and into fruition. Be blessed and continue to be a blessing!

"Lift Every Voice"

Proverbs 31:8, "Open your mouth for the speechless, In the case of all who are appointed to die."

Today marks the commemorative month of African-American History and it is an appointed time that we should all schedule as a month to teach our children, family, church, ministries, and wherever we give of our service about the spirit of excellency. Many people of all creeds have died so that we may live and we have to be ever so careful of not dishonoring their efforts. The Proverbs Woman has no choice but to open her mouth for those who aren't well-versed. God has equipped us with everything we need to be good stewards and teachers of the Gospel of Christ. Our nation is dying and as Women of God, we are responsible and accountable for raising a generation of young women and men in the fear and admonition of God. We perish for a lack of knowledge, but the information is available. Let us strive to be a blessing to all whom we encounter in every season of our lives.

"An Uncompromising Woman"

Proverbs 8:11, "For wisdom is better than rubies, and all the things one may desire cannot be compared with her."

Ladies, we often get caught up into what society's perceives to be valuable, but above all things we have to embrace wisdom and recognize the value she adds to our lives. As a Woman of God, you can't compromise God's Wisdom for the World's Knowledge. For those who love jewelry, it is common knowledge that rubies don't lose their value, even in economic downturn. A ruby speaks for itself and those whom choose to purchase a ruby understand that it mostly purchased as wholesale gem. Meaning, you get what you pay for. The wisdom of God is more valuable than a ruby and it can't be PURCHASED, it must be sought in PRAYER. No matter what you do or pursue, we have to have the wisdom of God to enter into the doors of opportunity and it will require that same wisdom to close the doors behind us. Wisdom is uncompromising, it can't be brought to the table as a negotiable trade. You need wisdom as much as you need your next breath. Wherever you give of your service, always infiltrate the people with the Wisdom of God and shift the atmosphere by working in the spirit of excellency. Be blessed and be a blessing!

"I Can't Give Up"

Job 2:10, "But he said to her, "You speak as one of the foolish women speaks. Shall  we indeed accept adversity?" In all this Job did not sin with his lips."

Ladies, don't ever take your power for granted nor the words that we allow to come out of our mouth. When we are going through and those who are close to us, we have to be ever so careful of being encouraging vessels that speak life in darkness. Women of God can't grow weary in doing well. The words we say are impacting and can shift the atmosphere in our homes, marriages, relationships, careers, ministries, etc...We all should strive to be the woman who can walk into a room and change the entire aura through our presence. In today's society, being foolish is as average as one eating eggs and bacon for breakfast. We are chosen vessels of God and it's time for us to take our righteous and rightful place in the environments that we dwell. When things get bad, our integrity has to remain good. We have to speak long-term and see things in faith value. In spite of everything we endure, we have to accept the good with the bad and speak light into darkness. Don't give up, God didn't give up on us!

"I Still Have A Praise"

Hebrews 11:11, "By faith Sarah herself also received strength to conceive seed, and she bore a child when she was past age, because she judged Him faithful who had promised."

Ladies, everything we desire for God to birth out of our spiritual wombs will come through our faith. Faith is often taken lightly, but it is our direct access and connection to Our Father. Through faith and only by faith are we able to please God and receive the strength that we need for our journey. The Scripture says by faith Sarah herself received strength to conceive. Ladies, your faith is your underlying power that gives you the strength to conceive the blessings that God has for you. Your blessings start inside and are cultivated through your level of faith. Don't ever allow anyone to place limits on your ability to produce greatness! God will place a woman in an impossible position to produce possible. The Word clearly tells us that Sarah was blessed beyond what society deemed appropriate for her age, but I am so glad that God isn't like man! God does what He wants when He desires for His Daughters. God can produce the same miracles in our lives if we take on Sarah's level of faith and judge Him faithful who has promised.  In spite of everything Sarah had to endure, she still had a praise inside of her! Always remember, there are no statute of limitations on your life nor on the blessings that God desires to fulfill through you. Be blessed and be a blessing!

"Women of Standard"

Joshua 24:15, "But as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord."

As the New Woman in the New Year, ladies we are going to have to set standards for our homes and ourselves. We often will allow our Girlfriends to speak where God should have a Voice. Whether single, married, engaged, or widowed, we all have to have an order of standard that can't be compromised nor dictated by society. During Joshua's time, the people had turned to idol gods and he made it clear to them that they couldn't serve foreign gods and the Holy God because He is holy and a jealous God. As Women of God, we have to examine ourselves to ensure that we aren't giving more time and devotion to things more than God. Anything that we position before God is an idol in our lives, whether it be a career, a man, a car, shoes, alcohol, etc...Divas, we have to make it clear where the lines are drawn and when they are crossed. Those who challenge your relationship desire to defeat you. We have to stand and speak boldly as Joshua and let it be known that in spite of how others live, we are going to serve the Lord and be righteous. Be blessed and be a blessing!

"I Didn't Know My Own Strength"

Matthew 5:10, "Blessed are they who are persecuted for righteousness' sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven."

Ladies, you truly don't look like the hell you've been through this week, but in spite of it all we have to draw from the strength within us and do as James said, "Count it all joy!" Most people get comfortable in discouraging and disrespecting us because they have become accustomed with experiencing it in their own lives. Disrespect should always be the place where lines are drawn and crossed. We are Christians, but God never expected us to be Cowards-there is a difference. Find encouragement in knowing that for every hard time and persecution we have to endure, we are blessed for righteousness' sake. As the elders say, "No Cross, No Crown." We have to endure the sufferings that Christ endured to be in relationship with Him in an intimate way, but for us who go through, we shall inherit the kingdom of heaven. There is such a peace in knowing the Prince of Peace. As the late Whitney Houston said, "We have to pick ourselves up and hold our heads up high." Ladies,no matter how others perceive you, know that we were created in the image of God. You were built to be blessed, not break! Be blessed and be a blessing:)

"Flying above Foolishness"

Psalm 55:6, "So I said, "Oh, that I had wings like a dove! I would fly away and be at rest."

Ladies, in this season of your life, we are going to have to discipline ourselves to fly above foolishness. This is our Year of Maturity and friends, family and foes will attack you to show you who you are and we have to think long-term and not respond out of anger. King David said it best, "Oh, that I had wings like a dove!" Meaning some things don't even warrant a response nor coming down to one's level. Some situations simply have to be flown over so that you can restore peace in your heart, head, and home. Remember, this is the year of exposure and when things happen, examine the situation or the person for what or who they are and go forth in forgiveness and the reality of what transpired. God dwells above our problems, be blessed and be a blessing!

"The Year of Maturity"

John 8:10, "...Woman where are those accusers of yours? Has no one condemned you?"

Ladies, along this journey there will be people who try to sidetrack you from getting to your destiny.  2013 is the Year of Maturity and we have to walk in wisdom and speak in maturity. Find it not strange, there are more people watching you and listening to your every word than you expect. When people don't have a life, they will try to destroy your life. In spite of the wrongdoings that the men found the woman partaking in, she stayed professional in her pain and allowed them to take her to Jesus. The same principle is applicable in our own lives, sometimes it's best to be quiet and allow God to fight our battles. What I love about Jesus is that He will handle our adversaries and correct us in privacy. When we do wrong we have to be humble and accept criticism from man, but receive correction from God. There is a difference. Be blessed today and know that if God be for you, it really doesn't matter who is against you!

"I Am Who God Says I Am"

Proverb 31:10, "Who can find a virtuous wife? For her worth is far above rubies."

In today's society, it is getting more difficult to find good, godly solid women who aren't willing to compromise their integrity under any circumstances. Women have become so enthralled into establishing their identity in a man that most have not taken the time to examine and determine who they are. Divas, a man was meant to compliment us-not complete us. We can only be made whole in Christ. For the Women of God who have made the decision to hold the torch of womanhood, we are responsible to our upcoming generation and accountable to God. Don't ever be nothing less than a Woman of God. A rubies does not lose its value and neither should a woman. Always know what you bring to the table in your marriage, ministry, career, friendships and relationships so that others won't have the opportunity to place a value on your worth.  A rubies' value is not determined by its environment nor economy-it stands on its authenticity. According to the Word of God, virtuous women are far more valuable than rubies-meaning throughout the course of your life your value will not be altered by the environment nor economy. Be blessed ladies and know that many women are and young ladies are counting on us!

"Heels to Fill"

Matthew 10: 38, "Therefore pray the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest."

Ladies, God is seeking women like never before who are willing to be a blessing instead of seeking a blessing. First Lady Michelle Obama has set the tone for our generation and nation in terms of making ourselves available vessels of sacrifice and service. We all have heels to fill in our families, community, church, jobs, and wherever you give of your heart and service. Jesus told His disciples that the harvest is plenty and the laborers are few, meaning there are plenty of areas that God is ready and willing to bless in our lives, but the work has to be fulfilled from our hands before seeking God's Hands. Any woman can talk, but we have to align our talking with our walking. Jesus told the disciples that they should pray for the Lord who has the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest. Ladies, we are a sample of the example that young ladies will examine to determine how to serve as vessels of change in their dwellings and we have to seek God in prayer for the upcoming laborers of God's vineyard. Let's be the laborers that God is calling forth to arise in this hour. A good woman's steps are ordered by God and He will delight in them. Don't worry about the journey, just fill the heels God has given you and He will direct your steps and delight in every area you tread. Be blessed and Be a Blessing!

" A Diva's Dream"

Ephesians 2:10, "For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them."

January 21, 2013 marks the celebratory events of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr's annual holiday and the inauguration of President Barack Obama.  The parallelism of these defining days is honorable and we should use this special day to evaluate our vision to ensure that it aligns with the faith print that God created for our lives. The Word of God declares that we are God's workmanship meaning divas are divinely designed in Jesus for good works. Our service to God is the only thing that shall stand and our vision and provision has already been prepared before the foundations of the Earth for us to walk therein. Ladies, all we have to do is Walk out the Word! Eyes haven't seen, some people haven't heard, nor has some of the dreams that God has for you has entered into your heart. Any successful person will tell you that if you SEE IT you can SEEK it, meaning you have to see a vision before you become a visionary and agent of change for God. Don't grow discouraged with not being who you wanted to be now, just walk in what God has called you to be and He will handle the rest:) Be Blessed and Be a Blessing!
